On Sunday 13 September 2026, riders will cycle from Lorne to Apollo Bay in the morning, then return to Lorne as part of the iconic Amy’s Medio Fondo on fully closed roads — delivering 90km of unforgettable coastal riding.

Morning Ride: Lorne → Apollo Bay

Leg 1: 45km | Depart 7:00am

  • Meet: 6:50am at Lorne Hotel for a 7:00am departure

  • Ride one of the most spectacular stretches of the Great Ocean Road, passing through Wye River and Kennet River before arriving in Apollo Bay.

  • Enjoy time to refresh, refuel and relax in Apollo Bay’s cafés before preparing for the return journey.

Closed Road Event Ride: Apollo Bay → Lorne

Leg 2: 45km | Amy’s Medio Fondo | Start 11:00am

  • Join the official Amy’s Medio Fondo for the return ride to Lorne under fully closed road conditions.

  • This stunning 45km course showcases the very best of the Great Ocean Road, with opportunities to stop at multiple scenic lookouts along the way.

  • With its achievable distance, rolling terrain and breathtaking scenery across the Surf Coast and Colac Otways, this ride is perfect for first-timers and experienced riders alike.
